Windy, 40’s, and cloudy….not a pretty day! But I was going
to get 10 in today no matter what. I waited for the Fedex guy to arrive with my
new laptop…by 10:30 I said screw it, I’m out of here. As I was getting dressed,
up pulled the Fedex truck. Score! I’ve been eyeing up a new laptop for a while
and saw a nice deal at Dell so grabbed it. Didn’t really like using my work
laptop as much as I was for personal stuff. So off I went. I got about 4 hours of sleep
last night after working a 6pm-2:30am shift…horrible hours. That was after
working till 1pm earlier that day. Had about enough of work! But the little
sleep didn’t bother me much as I knew I could grab a nap later….which I did.
The wind was nasty, 30 mph gusts but didn’t really think much about it…mind
over matter. Saw a smashed garage door opener during the run on the road…a
rather new one. Made me think what could have caused someone to smash it….maybe
a divorce, maybe kids being kids, maybe. Those weird things pop in your head
during an easy 10 miler. Well, time to load all my Garmin and iPod stuff on my
new laptop. Have a great weekend!
