Plan was for a long run today, but never got around to doing it. Instead, I
decided on a quick tempo run…hoping to keep mileage low, speed high this week
with a 10K next Saturday. After an easy mile 1 (8:07), I picked up the pace.
Rest of the splits were 7:52, 7:21, 7:26, 7:34, and 7:20. This was my hilly
route too….535ft elevation gain. Plan is to run early morning this week and
spend the afternoons making healthy meals, haven’t been doing that much lately
but need to get back at it.
